Do uploaders need an account?
No. Anyone with your Drop link can upload directly from their browser. No account, app or installation required.
Are photos and videos compressed?
No. DreamDrop delivers the original files without compressing them. Original quality is included on every plan.
What happens when my Mac is offline?
Files wait temporarily for delivery. When your Mac is online and the agent is running, delivery resumes. The delivery window is 1 day on Free, 3 days on Pro and 7 days on Team.
How long are my files stored?
DreamDrop is a delivery service, not a permanent cloud archive. Temporary delivery storage lasts 1 day on Free, 3 days on Pro and 7 days on Team. Files already received on your computer stay there.
What if I reach my monthly limit?
New uploads are paused until your allowance resets or you upgrade. Files already accepted are still delivered within their delivery window. There are no automatic overage charges.
Which computers are supported?
DreamDrop Agent is available for macOS (Apple Silicon) and Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit). Uploaders can send files from a browser on any phone or computer.
